We asked Chatgpt if AI trading is a good idea.

Ai chatbots are taking over the world because of how accurate and time-effective they are. They can assist you with a variety of tasks, like helping you to correct codes, create blogs (don't worry, it didn't write this one), conduct research, and answer a variety of mathematical issues.

It's not necessarily a terrible thing if you haven't heard of AI chatbots, however, I'll be surprised if you haven't heard about ChatGPT, which was developed by open Ai…

What is the meaning of ChatGPT?

ChatGPT is an AI chatbot that uses natural language processing to create humanlike conversational dialogue. The language model can respond to questions and compose various written content, including articles, social media posts, essays, code, and emails.

And, it can apparently give you financial advice and “teach” you how to make money, IF you use it correctly and smartly so we decided to test its efficiency.

The question was simple and to the point, as instructed,
“Is AI trading a good idea?”

The irony isn’t lost on me because its answer will determine its future, ha.

It is very curious because it started with a positive note, giving a little insight into its capabilities and what exactly it can achieve in the market, which seems so organic and aligns with the way a human mind will start. this way it leaves a good taste in your mouth before it adds the lemon.

It then leaves the choice up to you, which is ideal, deep down a person usually has an opinion about something already formed; all it needs is additional evidence to support that opinion. The classic “pros and cons” is back at it again.

It then proceeds to list all of the positive points. Which are honestly correct and exactly to the point, in digestible chunks that are easy to understand, all the while keeping the word count low. The same can be said about the negative points, which are also correct, based on real data at Birizon.

AI does depend too much on old data (a no-no in today’s market), also Human judgment is indeed needed to oversee the decision AI makes and readjust it, and Birizon has built an integrated team that works smoothly and seamlessly with our AI trading bots to make them optimized and always up to date.

It ends the question with a summary of everything and then leaves the question completely open and unanswered… exactly just like a human writing an unbiased piece.

My thoughts

ChatGPT's responses are based on what its developers used to train it, they aren't unique or organic enough, but it is a good time saver for many fields, particularly programmers. I believe it has enormous potential over the next five years.

But, we should proceed with caution and begin by determining what we should and should not do. Most firms get so caught up in fighting for the latest and greatest new cutting-edge technology that we completely miss the problems it has generated along the road.
